I’ve managed to go a few months without messing around too much with my new(ish) blonde hair, it’s definitely time to change that. Bleach London was recommended by a friend and disapproved by my hair dresser. Any sensible person would probably listen to the professional, that’s not what I decided to do.
The pink shampoo and conditioner caught my eye and I just couldn’t resist.
It’s a pretty straight forward process. Shampoo, leave a couple of minutes, condition, leave a couple more minutes, then get on with your life.
This was my colour before. In true before and after fashion, this is day 2 (or 3) hair so probably doesn’t look it’s absolute best. It’s pretty accurate though for the yellowy tones that have started showing.
After the wash. I got a little bit excited here, not all the blonde is covered but I like how pink the pink looks. It feels pretty good too, not as soft as when I use my normal conditioner but not bad at all.
After drying. The colour doesn’t seem quite as bright as when it was still wet, that’s fine. It all dried as normal and feels pretty healthy for bleached to death hair.
I wish it was a bit more all over pink, but I don’t hate it. I think the colour has only really stuck to my lightest blonde bits, but I do think the brassy bits have been toned down. This could be because it’s freshly washed and straightened, but I’m going to sit on the optimistic side of the fence. My hair dresser had mentioned the colour never really goes away even though it is supposed to fade. I think I can cope with having permanently pink hair, but we’ll see what happens after a few washes.
