Style: summer makeup

I think by now everyone knows I love a bit of Pinterest inspiration. There is definitely much more on offer than crazy, unrealistic (in my opinion) make up looks. It has been crazy hot in the UK recently. I don’t think I’ve met anyone who is genuinely coping. I went on a search for some pretty daytime summer makeup looks that could potentially work. Metallic is surely the best way to hide a little bit of summer sweat?

Look one

My colours aren’t as pigmented and my brows are nowhere near as defined. I don’t hate it though. This could definitely be a winner for a day to day makeup look. Obviously on a day when I wake up early enough to do more than whack a bit of eyebrow gel on and hopefully a bit of mascara.

Look two

Again, the pigment here isn’t quite as strong, but I think I’m glad about that. As a casual but I’ve put effort in look, this could definitely be a workable morning option. In the past I’ve always shied away from the metallics in the day time, I think that may have been a longtime mistake.

Look three

Clearly, I still haven’t mastered the art of of precise eyeliner. I’m sure this is what a perfect line would look like after an hour or two in the heat. That’s my excuse anyway, going straight for the worn out look. Maybe not the best look to go for until the heat dies down and I get a little bit more practice in.

It’s not quite as fun playing around with more wearable makeup looks, but 100% more useful in day to day life. All that is left now is to wake up a little bit earlier in the morning and maybe start carrying a fan around to stop all the products melting away.

Stay tuned!

Much love!

Hannah
